Intermediate Obedience

6 week session: For dogs 8+ months of age. Must have taken basic obedience with us prior to taking this class. This class begins pushing dogs toward the advanced level, extending the commands learned in basic obedience and introducing off leash work.

 

We begin introducing more real world scenarios you would face with your dog out in public. Intermediate class is an essential bridge-way between the simpler basic class and the extremely complex advanced class.  ​​

Here's what we'll cover in class:

  • Focus around Distractions

  • Loose Leash Heeling

  • Sit 

  • Relaxed Down

  • Turn

  • Long Stays with Distractions

  • Walking on Both Sides

  • Changing Pace

  • Strong Recall (Come) Around Distractions

  • Novice Off-Leash Obedience

Our Class Policies

  • must meet our vaccination requirements or you will be turned away with no refund

  • minimum one handler per dog

  • no human aggression history

  • must cancel at least 24 hours before class begins
